In 9th and 10th standard a child is confused about which career path to take. Usually peer pressure plays a popular role while making that choice. But this workshop will bring in a realization that there is a choice of vision to life which will make life purposeful and meaningful. Career is only a medium towards achieving one's vision. Many children are trying to change their behavior but do not know what beliefs they carry within themselves which is making them behave in a particular way. When they learn how to diagnose their beliefs the changes they make will be consistent and long lasting. Every situation and experience in life has the potential to teach us something , therefore life is nothing but a series of stories and learning from them. The kind of learning we pick up from each of these experiences governs our behavior and decides the choices we make and the implications of the same.

In this age and times, when youngsters are bombarded with unlimited choices and opportunities, it is essential for them to be grounded in understanding their personal interests and dreams, to be able to make conscious and appropriate choices, which will be productive for their life and future.
Areas touched upon: Understand the importance of having a vision in life and channelizing their potential to the best to achieve this vision. Ability to assess their strengths and weaknesses and work towards building the strengths and overcoming weaknesses to become an achiever.
Understanding the various choices of careers available in the world today, and mapping their interests and vision to make a meaningful choice of career. How every goal achieved is a means to move towards their vision. And hence the importance of planning and executing the same. Understanding one’s own behavior and the reason behind the behavior. Empowering them with the understanding that they have the ability to modify it and be more effective in life situations. Ability to perform effectively in specific areas such as Team building, Effective communication, Social interaction and holistic health.
Clarity on the concept of Change, Competition and Context sensitivity. Learning to be an effective learner to be able to make the most of opportunities in life. Being a leader in whatever one takes up and lead one’s life with awareness and make conscious mindful choices.

Ascent College of Alliance University invites applications for the Master of Business Administration(MBA)

The two-year, full-time, Master of Business Administration (MBA) course follows a rigorous, relevant, contemporary, and progressive curriculum. It is designed, developed, and delivered to ensure high quality education and is taught by accomplished full-time and visiting faculty. The course consists of Core subjects followed by Elective subjects that reflect the student's chosen area of specialization – Finance, Marketing, and Organizational Leadership and Strategy (OB & HR). • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate from a recognized university or equivalent
• A high score in a National-level Management Aptitude Test or GMAT
Selection criteria
The Admission Selection Process is comprised of:
• Alliance Aptitude Test (AAT)
• Group Discussion
• Personal Interview

The College also uses other parameters for admission such as scholastic and extracurricular record, and full time, relevant work experience. The selection of the candidate to the course will be based on the overall performance in the Admission Selection Process.
